 Site features complete catalogs for every university in the United States.

Site developed for parents to understand  the college  admissions process.

The site will allow for college and occupational searches based on the criteria you feel are important.  The website also have a variety of resources.

Offers information on college searches, the admission process, financial aid, athletics, and can link to specific colleges.  There is also a place to ask specific questions and get useful replies from experts in the field

This site provides the crime statistics for four-year colleges in the United States. This is an excellent place to see how safe a specific college campus is.

A comprehensive site dealing with all aspects of the college process, as well as test preparation, study abroad programs, and career information.

Contains information about comparing colleges, a parent's guide, and a college personality quiz.

This nationally recognized source on career information describes what workers typically do in various careers, training/education needed, salaries, and future trends

Includes future outlook, salary, and job lead information for many careers. Many useful links to other career and educational websites.

FINANCIAL AID

Contains a free scholarship search database.  This site will save a student's profile and e-mail new scholarships to their "mail box" on line.

FAFSA on the Web - http://www.fafsa.ed.gov

All college-bound students should apply for financial aid using this form.  FAFSA on the Web contains the electronic application utilized by all colleges and universities throughout the country.

Quality page of links to many financial aid sites, including scholarships, loans, and scam alerts.

Sallie Mae - http://www.salliemae.com

A comprehensive online resource on planning and paying for college.  The "Financial Aid 101" area will provide  answers to many, if not all, of your questions, including scholarship scams, finding the right college, loans, etc.

Illinois Student Assistance Commission - http://www.collegezone.com

Keeps users up-to-date as to the latest financial aid changes in the state.  This site has excellent links to other recommended financial aid sites.

You can set up an account and a savings is set up from different products bought and stores shopped.

Service in which parents can prepay college at today’s college rate by setting up a 529 plan.
