HC Semester One Learning Objectives

Honor Chemistry Semester One Exam

Semester one exams begin on Friday, December 16th-Tuesday, December 20th, check with your teacher for the date of your final.   Review all of the semester one learning objectives listed below. The learning objectives come from chapters 1-5, 8, 11, 13, and 18. Make a crib sheet containing the semester one learning objectives; study the objectives enough that you can recall them from memorization. Use your homework packets, labs, quizzes, tests, chapter reviews, and web-links for practice problems. Redo a sampling of questions for each learning objective. In order to become a great problem solver you need to solve problems! The final exam consists of approximately 125 multiple-choice questions and you will have 90 minutes to complete the exam, no additional time will be given. Throughout the term have you been going over all assignments, HW, quizzes, and tests and learning from your mistakes? I certainly hope so because all of that material will be on the semester exam. You need to put copious amounts of time towards studying for your chemistry final it counts for 15% of the semester grade. Bring your organized binder to the exam. I will be collecting sections of your binder to determine if you have gone back and made corrections in red pen. You must show your work on corrections.
