Honors Chemistry blocks 1 and 3 performed an acid/base lab. The tube started out with distilled water in it, and then a few drops of universal indicator was added to both ends and mixed. Then a strong acid and a strong base was added to each end and mixed forming a "rainbow tube." The different colors represent the different levels of pH in the solution.
