Welcome from MCHS Music Directors
The MCHS Music Department would like to extend an invitation to all students, parents, faculty/staff, and community members to attend our many scheduled concerts and performances throughout the 2008-09 school year. Both Mr. Justin Gund, Band Director, and Mr. Paul Jung, Choral Director, are pleased and excited to have so many fine and talented music students in our department. Both the band and choir present concert programs each term as well as special performances within the school and community. The Music Department is also active with the Illinois Music Educators Association activities in the fall and the Illinois High School Association contests in the spring. In addition, our musicians are also active with the South-west Prairie Conference, Spring Musical, and Madrigal Dinner-Concert. Specific dates, times, and places can be found on the link attached to the MCHS web-site. We encourage all to attend our many free concerts and would enjoy having you in our audience.
