Fun to learn with Fritchtnitch
Hi! Welcome to the Family and Consumer Sciences Department. I teach Foods and Child Development. These classes are a lot of fun, but believe it or not there is a lot to learn in these areas that lead to rewarding careers. I've been teaching here for 12 years and enjoy working with high schoolers. But when I'm not in the classroom I enjoy being with my family. I've been married to my husband (Mike) for ten years and we have 2 daughters (Haley and Abbi). We have a lot of fun playing outside in the summer and playing our Wii in the winter. One of my favorite things to do is read in my spare time. My favorite TV show is Biggest Loser. It's fun to watch and interesting to see how people reshape their lives for the better.
I also enjoy children. Apple Tree Play School has been a part of my teaching career for the last 5 years. Preschool aged children come to the high school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 - 10:50 while the high school students in Child Development teach and lead the lessons. We have a lot of fun!
