"Grand Music Festival" at MCHS

A “Grand Music Festival” will be presented at Morris Community High School on Monday, February 8, 2010. Approximately 350 music students from Shabbona Middle School, Rollin Varness, Band and Choir Director; Saratoga School, Kim Struck, Choir Director, and Megan Moscato, Band Director; Immaculate Conception School, Melissa Cobb, Band and Choir Director; and Morris Community High School, Paul Jung, Choir Director, and Don Stinson, Band Director, will join forces to present this evening concert at 7:00 PM in the Main Gymnasium at MCHS.
The students will be rehearsing at MCHS during the school day preparing individual choir and band selections, performing for each other, and practicing the combined selection “United We Stand”, by Sally K. Albrecnt and Jay Althouse, as a patriotic finale with chorus and band.
No admission will be charged for the performance. The concert is free and open to the public.
