Student Leader Award

May 16, 2017

On May 17, 2017 Morris Community High School awarded our first-ever Ronald Reagan Student Leader Award to graduating senior Megan Davy in recognition her exceptional leadership and character.  When asked, Principal Kelly Hussey and NHS Advisor Mr. Craig Ortiz both felt strongly about the leadership that Megan has provided throughout her fours years at Morris Community High School.  Highlights from Megan's senior year alone include being the President of the National Honor Society, the Treasurer on the Student Council executive board, a member of many other school clubs and organizations, and as a team captain and top 16 finisher in the 2017 IHSA State 1A Tennis Championships.  Seen as a leader both inside and outside of the classroom, Morris Community High School is proud all that Megan has accomplished and wish her the best in all of her future endeavors.
