Bio Information

Although this is my fifth year as a School Counselor at MCHS, I am no stranger to Morris Community High School or the community. I was born and raised in Morris and attended MCHS as a student from 2000-2004.

After completing my undergrad at Aurora University I began my career in education serving as a substitute teacher at all the local schools here in Morris. From there, I was a job coach in the special education REACH program in Minooka.  In 2010, as I attended Lewis University for my Masters in School Counseling, I was also an assistant cross country/track and field coach for Benedictine University and also served as the head recruiter. During this time, I was fortunate to learn the ins and outs of an admissions office. Two years later, I moved to Chicago and had the opportunity to work for NCSA (National Collegiate Scouting Association) where I worked with high school student athletes and their families from all across the country in the college recruiting process.

Based off of my diverse background, I am confident and excited to continue my journey working with students and families here at MCHS!
