Positive Referral Program

The students at M.C.H.S. make good choices and exhibit positive behaviors on a daily basis. In order to recognize these positive behaviors, M.C.H.S. has implemented the Positive Behavior Referral program.

Students can be referred for demonstrating positive and kind behaviors during the school day and at school sponsored activities. Any M.C.H.S. staff member can refer a student by completing a Positive Referral Form. These forms can be found on the M.C.H.S. website under the faculty only section.

The referral form will be sent to Mr. Farrell and a letter will be sent home to the parents detailing the positive behavior. The student recognized will receive a free pizza coupon and their name will also be entered into a drawing. At the end of each 9 weeks, two names entered into the drawing will be randomly chosen. The winners will receive Grundy County Chamber of Commerce gift certificates.

The goal of this program is to recognize students that do good things at M.C.H.S. and teach others the importance of positive behaviors. We are fortunate to have a positive learning environment at M.C.H.S. and it is our responsibility to continue to make it even better!
