Freshmen Technology Information Sheet

Welcome to Morris Community High School! 

This Information Sheet will provide you with a few important details about the technology systems at Morris High School. MCHS is a Google Suite school and utilizes various Google tools including Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Classroom. Below you will find your @morrishs.org email address and password. Your teachers will utilize Google Classroom as the central place to login and access classroom materials and announcements. The Google Classroom codes for teacher Classrooms will be available on our website in the Remote Learning Resources area. To access Google Classroom visit classroom.google.com and login with your school issued email address. To join classes, select the plus sign at the top right corner and select Join Class. Enter the classroom code provided by your teacher, and you will be joined to the classroom. Additionally, you will need to join the Freshmen Google Classroom which will include all students in the freshmen class. Attendance collection and other important announcements will be posted in this classroom. The join code for this classroom is: 6dtmcxz. Morris High School is providing you with a Chromebook for classroom work and activities. To add a home WiFi network to your Chromebook, look for the wireless settings at the bottom right clock section of the Chromebook. Select the wireless settings, search for and select your home wireless network, and enter the password. Your Chromebook should join the WiFi and be ready for you to login. Your login to the Chromebook is your school issued email address and password. Morris High School teachers will also be utilizing video conferencing tools such as Zoom and Hangouts Meet, and will provide more information for those tools as they use them.
